1- Candlelight Dinner at McDonald’s
Apparently a North Carolina McDonald’s is planning to offer a “romantic” candlelight dinner this valentines day. The McDonalds will fill their cafe with musical selections by someone named Ron. So if you’re in Southport, NC and want your relationship to be as fast as the food they serve, you can head over to McDonald’s for what might be your last meal as a couple.
2-Cooking dinner when you can’t cook
You don’t need to go out to a restaurant and deal with the Valentines day crowds for dinner. But if your planning on cooking a romantic meal remember this one important thing: You Need To Know How To Cook! If you don’t cook or don’t know how Valentines day is not the time to start, your best case scenario is a subpar meal. Cooking isn’t always the easiest thing and can be dangerous, you could get sick, set the house on fire, or get sick and set the house on fire. If you and your significant other want to stay in for dinner you might want to order some take out if neither of you is experienced in the kitchen.
3-Getting your significant other a gym membership
We have all heard it before, everyone complains about their body sometimes. If you are thinking that it would be nice to pay that sign up fee and monthly payments for the one you love to join the gym, it’s not. It is pretty much just like you said “You’re fat and ugly and need to get in shape.” Maybe a better idea would be to join the gym yourself so that next Valentines day your present could be a better body. However we are not saying you’re fat and ugly and need to get in shape!
4-Know the line between close and too close
Going out to dinner, planning a trip or finding an activity to do with the one you love are some great examples of things you can do to be close this Valentines day. Just make sure whatever you plan on doing with your significant other doesn’t cross the line between close and too close. Things like tandem mittens, side-by-side toilets and a pair of undies you can both fit in are all stage 5 clinger worthy ideas. Even if you are thinking the underwear might be fun, just remember that certain activities call for no underwear and remember how much better that is ;).
5-Selfish Present
Make sure whatever present you buy your significant other does’t significantly resemble a present you yourself would like to receive. Some people are hard to shop for but don’t forget your not shopping for yourself! They will probably know right away that the present is a selfish one and probably won’t be too happy with you because of it. If your having trouble finding a present don’t forget that a card and flowers are always a safe bet.
